Key Responsibilities:

Tax Advisory: The Senior Tax Manager will provide expert tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, including multinational corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and SMEs. Key areas of focus include corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, international tax, and tax-efficient structuring.
Client Relationship Management: The Senior Tax Manager will be instrumental in managing and nurturing long-term relationships with clients. They will ensure exceptional service delivery, provide strategic insights, and proactively identify opportunities to add value to client businesses.
Team Leadership and Development: The successful candidate will manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on technical matters. They will take a lead role in training and developing junior staff, conducting performance reviews, and helping the team enhance both technical and soft skills.
Tax Compliance and Risk Management: The Senior Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance for a range of clients, ensuring all returns are submitted on time and in line with regulations. They will also assess and manage tax risks, helping clients navigate complex compliance issues and avoid potential pitfalls.
Project Management: The role involves managing the delivery of complex tax projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring that client objectives are met on time and within budget. The Senior Tax Manager will take responsibility for overseeing key client engagements from start to finish.
Business Development: The Senior Tax Manager will contribute to the growth of the firm’s tax practice by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This includes drafting proposals, leading pitches, and building relationships with potential clients to expand the firm’s client base.
Technical Expertise and Innovation: The Senior Tax Manager will be a key technical resource for both clients and colleagues, staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and providing innovative solutions to clients’ tax challenges. Key Skills & Experience:

ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax advisory.
A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in tax, ideally within a professional services environment.
Broad technical expertise across corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, international tax, and tax compliance.
Proven experience in managing teams, mentoring junior staff, and leading training initiatives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and ensure high-quality delivery.
Strong business development skills, with a track record of generating new business and expanding client portfolios.
Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to handle complex tax matters and provide innovative solutions.
Knowledge of tax technology systems is advantageous.
